In our class, we were instructed to research emerging technologies that we could incorporate to address the business gap identified in the first assignment. On my part, I was able to find vendors or solutions providers that offer Learning Management Systems (LMS) with the incorporation of emerging technologies:


Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Having locations makes it challenging to implement a training program for employees which is further complicated by the use of physical training spaces. With technology in place now employees can effortlessly reach training resources from using any device. Moreover cloud based solutions facilitate access to up to date training content ensuring employees are well informed on the regulatory policies essential, for compliance.

Mobile Learning (mLearning), Gamification

·        Mobile learning or mLearning is a technology that continues to grow and improve with the advancement of tech mobile devices, on the scene. The convenience of being able to access training materials through smartphones or tablets via an application provided by Learning Management System providers is a significant benefit. Mobile apps have the capability to share file formats like bite modules and podcasts, for educational purposes. Additionally, gamification is often incorporated by LMS providers to enhance engagement in their applications.
